I would highly recommend O'Brien's Moving to anyone considering a move either personal or business. My law firm used O'Brien's for our last office move. My father used O'Brien's for his move in the Spring 2010. And my family just used O'Brien's to move into our new home the day after Thanksgiving. All moves went smoothly and were done timely and without problems. The final cost was less than the estimate. The movers were courteous and took the time to understand how we wanted certain items moved and where we wished them to be placed in out new home. The movers also finished the job in less time than estimated and did a wonderful job. O'Brien's is definitely the best moving company to use in the Lehigh Valley.

If I could rate the sales/consultant associate and the movers themselves seperately, this rating would be different. The sales representative gave me troubles when I had questions and changes to my order (we had a partial move which complicated things). I found her to be unprofessionnal at time and uneasy to work with. I would rate the representative a 2. The movers were very pleasant and flexible in working with us and a timeframe to have our load delivered. They were professionnal and worked very fast and efficiently. I give the movers a rating of 5.

If you are looking for a GREAT mover, look no further!! From start to finish O'Brien's was amazing! The office staff was so helpful from the initial contact to helping me through all of my questions and explaining the process of the estimate to the confirmation of my move. The movers were TERRIFIC! They were fast and careful moving all of my items. My daughter had items stored at O'Brien's and they were delivered to my new house, what a relief to see that everything was in the exact condition on delivery as it was on the day we put it in there!! Warehouse storage is the way to go, everything was safe and sound in the O'Brien's warehouse. I highly recommend this company for moving and storage needs. Thank you O'Brien's for the stress free move!
Allentown Movers Review
The sales person from the company was very efficient and helpful; however, not all the information discussed was made available to the packers. The packers did a nice job but a few items were broken and one item was missing because they ended up using two trucks instead of one. All in all I found the people friendly but the move could have went smoother.

My husband is a perfectionist by nature; he also manages hospital construction, so you could say that he makes sure things get done right. Well, after our whole moving experience, he had nothing but nice things to say about O'Brien's moving company and crew! He was impressed how careful the guys were with every piece of furniture. I was impressed how quickly they moved everything---and in the rain, too! The crew was great--they worked quickly, quietly, conscientiously, and even with some pleasant humor. Honest, too. Wow, my crew was tops! How do I love O'Brien's? Let me count the ways! First, Nancy McKay was so helpful on initial contact and got me an estimator right away for a move that was only DAYS away, and not just any estimator, a very experienced, professional, very helpful gentleman who gave us very specific suggestions on how we could save money by cutting down on the hours he was estimating. We took all his suggestions to heart and it worked - we had a pile of boxes that went about 3/4 of a car length and 5' high welcoming our moving crew Monday morning, and the crew was THRILLED to see this because it made their work easier - many of these boxes had been carried up from the basement. Second, the loader, Joe was terrific, he went around each room and confirmed what would move and what would stay and planned out how it was going to go into the van. More importantly, he remembered what we had said - if something showed up at the van door and he remembered hearing that it wasn't suppose to be moved, he questioned it, set it aside, reconfirmed with me and sent it back into the house if necessary! Third, Barry was an absolute monster at carrying things, it was unbelievable watching the stuff that kid would move by himself, up or down steps, with never a single groan about how heavy something was - in fact he stated in the first few minutes that he loves his job because he gets to work out at work without having to pay a gym fee.
