Philadelphia Movers Review
The estimator was professional. The movers were efficient and friendly. However, they left with our hand truck! When we called the company to ask for it to be returned, they said, "We'll look into it." and we never heard from them again. This was very disappointing and left a sour taste in our mouths.

Reading Movers Review
I cannot say enough about how wonderful the 3 men who moved my daughter to her first apartment in Philadelphia were. The move occurred on the hottest day of the summer 104 degrees. They started in Mohnton, then to her university apartment at Temple, and then to her new apartment in center city. Both apartments were on the 2nd and 3rd floor,but they did a great job despite the conditions. I would use O'Brien's again in future moves.

We were very pleased with O'Brien's service. Karen M. was extremely helpful in the initial stages of planning and the crew of three movers were unfazed by a trip to Vermont--outside their usual range. Deena in the accounting office was also very responsive and helpful when it came to payment issues.

I had a wonderful experience with O'Brien's - John the estimator was very punctual and precise. The only glitch was that the packers did not show-up on the date specified, but did come on the following day to complete the packing and loading in the same day rather than 2 days, as originally planned. Overall, they did a great job and I would recommend them.
Philadelphia Movers Review
The movers were excellent at the time of pickup. They were fast, efficient, and very helpful. Upon delivery, however, they were two hours later than they stated that they would arrive. They also requested additional payment for extra labor, despite the fact that I had told the moving specialist upfront, at the time of the quote, that the loading dock was one building over, in the building next to my move-in building. There were only two movers sent at the time of delivery, while three came for the pickup, despite knowing in advance that the delivery would be more labor-intensive than the pickup. Also, two items were damaged in transport: one lamp that was completely non-functional upon delivery (the driver didn't even take it out of the truck), and one solid oak dining table, which had two legs break off because it had been transported upright rather than upside-down. The box delivery was also one day later than it was scheduled due to overbooking, according to the driver. However, the box estimate was very good, and the box quality was great.
Reading Movers Review
I moved from Schuylkill to Berks County last year. Robert Deering came to give me an estimate and explained the whole process which was a help as it was the first time I moved by myself. I was so impressed with Kevin and Brett, the two young men who did the actual moving. Good spirits, quick, respectful, knowledgable. I'm going to be moving to Florida in the near future and went through my paperwork tonight to find my O'Brien paperwork. I won't hesitate to use them again.
