The beautiful Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania is at it again, making several “Best” and "Top” lists.

The Hotel Bethlehem was named America’s Best Historic Hotel for the 6th straight year. Dorney Park’s Wildwater Kingdom just received national recognition, as 2 of its signature water attractions were named in the Top 10 in the country by USA Today Reader’s Choice Awards. Runaway River ranked #10 in the Best Lazy River category, while Wave Pool ranked #10 in the Best Wave Pool category. Runaway River has you ride in a colorful inner tube as you meander down 1,000 feet of slow, winding water that passes through a tunnel of thundering waterfalls, blow-holes, cascading water, and mushroom rain umbrella fountains. The Wave Pool is the size of a football field and provides ocean-like waves at water depths that range from 0 to 6 feet, minus the sand, broken seashells, and jellyfish.

Musikfest also just completed its 10-day run, is the country’s largest free, non-gated music festival and was just voted the #1 Music Festival in the country by USA Today’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards. This is the 3rd time in the last 8 years that Musikfest was voted #1. Musikfest had it 3rd largest attendance ever at 1,260,630 people, with attendees coming from 46 different states! Musikfest features over 500 performances across 16 stages, and its headliner sales totaled almost 53,000 tickets. In addition to all the great food, there are countless other musicians playing solo as you wander through the streets of Bethlehem.

No wonder the Lehigh Valley is so popular. The Lehigh Valley added over 21,000 people since 2020, a 3.1% increase, which is 8 times as fast as the population growth nationwide. Also, 3 communities in the Lehigh Valley are among the fastest-growing municipalities in the state, with Bethlehem ranking #2, Upper Macungie #3 , and Easton #7, out of over 2,560 municipalities in the state.
